How to Ground an Accelerometer

The article "Proper Grounding Techniques – Avoiding Radio Frequency Interference" by Peter Eitnier who is a Senior Application Engineer with Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies brings to mind a customer who bought some Wilcoxon accelerometers from us.

The customer was using accelerometer from another brand on an oil rig. They said that they kept getting interference every time someone used a walkie talkie.

After replacing the existing accelerometers with Wilcoxon accelerometers they no longer had this problem.

If you are interested in getting vibration sensors that are free from interference write drop us an email at sales@vibration.company
